About the Lab

The N-Phase Lab pioneers cutting-edge research in thermal-hydraulics for advanced nuclear systems and emerging energy applications. Our work focuses on ensuring reactor safety and performance under both normal operating and accident conditions, where multiphase flow dynamics and heat transfer are key drivers. We also develop advanced thermal management strategies and simulation tools to enable cryogenic propellant storage and transfer for future space missions.

By seamlessly integrating innovative experiments, mechanistic modeling, and high-fidelity computational simulations, the N-Phase Lab is shaping the future of safe, efficient, and innovative nuclear energy systems.
